Tsunami

This my poem about the events of today written when the last Tsunami in 2005′
My thoughts are with the survivors and rescuers.
Down to Earth, rain lashed
When the big bands played.
            FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way

For those that are still left
They are but feeling bereft
            FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way

Gone, their homes and food
Gone, their stable livelihood
             FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way.

Far away, the workers skilled
Are there to help you re-build
              FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way

World wide human passion
Came, support into fashion.
              FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way

Hope for new lives to begin
Giving love, joy; let’s all sing.
             FOR
Tsunami, help is on the way
