It’s a grand life being a dog despite your age now being a grand 13 years in human years
Since having her Metacalm and has now stopped as the pain is no longer there.
Activity and alertness now back again in play
Spotty loves to visit our local, pet store Zoars. There are steps leading into the store and she eagerly pulls me up. Then its a tour of the shop, making a beeline for where her type of food is displayed. The smells are intensifying as she sniffs but does not attempt to try any of them. Next she finds the assistants. wags her tail, sits in front of them and looks lovingly up into their eyes.
‘Please give me a treat’. With those appealing looks it wins the assistant to give her these treats. This is then followed by a drink of water. She has a stroke and told what a lovely girl she is before we depart to go back home, along the canal where more interesting smells can be savoured.
As the days get colder so the countryside displays its Autumn colours. Walking up our local park when the sun shines, the trees give an amazing display of gold both on those left on the branches and those fallen to the ground. Here are two photos I captured.
Next week Spotty is visiting the vet again. it’s time for her annual booster and this year she is going to have her Kennel Cough as well as there may be a possibility she may have to go into kennels.
