Christmas Day 2013

i have just had a mis-hap with my photos. and lost them. very annoying.!!!!

The first were the pictures of Spotty , her presents un opened then with her opening them.We went over to my son who cooked a delicious Xmas dinner with enough for the dogs to have some too. We started with home made Carrot soup followed by Turkey,Sprouts,Stuffing, Pigs-in-Blankets, mashed and roast Potatoes carrots and Parsnips.

As he had the dinner well in hand we took the dogs down to the beach for a pre Xmas run. The tide was up and the waves very rough due to the stormy weather we are having. But the dogs raced down to the sand keen to run off their energy and get an appetite for their food.

Once back we all opened our presents then food was ready.

After lunch Spotty and I came home and settled down to watch a bit of T.V. and have our Xmas tea – Lemon-curd and Blackberry jam (home- made_ on a Gluten-Free bread roll, followed by Xmas cake. I always use my Grandmothers’ engagement cup, saucer and plate. it must be about 95 years old now as they married in 1918.

All for now folks . Next post on Boxing Day activities
