Garden Surprise

Christmas has now passed. Wet, wild and windy over this time of year but here in Wales it has remained relatively mild for the time of year.

I usually look to see how the planting of the bulbs in autumn ,are developing, just after Christmas. none have usually shown but this year I look in the pots and see the tiny green shoots peeping out from the rich brown earth in the pots.

It is usually a sign of Spring not very far away. The last day of December 2013 and they are arriving! We have had no wintry weather of snow and frost and am sure we have that to come in 2014. One will wait and watch the development of nature.
