River Neath Estuary S.Wales

At last the weather is dry and not so cold. 11 April in the afternoon Spotty and I had our afternoon walk.If you have been following my blogs you will understand Spotty has been unwell. Age has caught up with her and those paws will not walk as far as she used to.Like Humans dogs do find it hard to adjust to new situations health-wise.

Now I lifted Spotty into the boot of the car and we headed off to the Neath river estuary.

Here there is the coastal path which a few years back has been made into a good walking path beside the estuary. The ground is flat making it easier for Spotty to walk. Every now and again there are seats to sit on if we so wish. But today we strolled as not quite warm enough to sit.

The bridge photos are of the M4 motorway and the old Briton ferry bridge that cross the river. Way back  in the 1970’s the only way through to Swansea was go via Neath and Skewen.
