Christmas Preparations / Benji

It’s that time of year when its time to buy presents; wrap presents; buy or make Christmas cards and write the letter with all the past years’ news to put in the card; decorate the house; .get all the food in,; plan where you will spend Christmas

23 December and I’ve everything in and plan to spend Christmas lunch with him.

This year I decided to go and choose the ‘special’ cards from our local card stall in the Market. It pleased me and enjoyed a good hour choosing those special cards. Hadn’t done this for years.

Why does the Xmas paper come in large rolls? I like small sheets that are manageable.

I was pleasantly surprise to find at the back of the paper black lines up,down and across. This made cutting so much easier.

My letter to inside the cards were quite eventful on my year. Looking back so much had happened. I love to receive others Xmas card with their news too.

I’ve made my own Gluten-Free Mince-pies and Christmas Cake

Now I wonder who that is in the background?

Do you shop around for presents, shop on line, or do what I have done bought from 2 of my favourite shops. Those being Shaws and Buyology.

Benji, my bestest 70th and Christmas gift rolled into one, has arrived on the scene life has calmed down a lot and I’m feeling more relaxed and content with life.

As yet my family do not know about him Its very hard to keep secrets. On Christmas day I’ll phone my daughter, At my son’s I’ll knock on the door. Their dog Ruby will bark and Paul will open the door and there will be his Mum with her new little dog.

At the moment Paul tells me ‘after Xmas we’ll go to find your new dog’. My daughter says ‘After Xmas there will be lots of puppies.’

On this note I will stop writing and hope to be posting again soon.

I hope you and Paul have many years of fun with Benji. we had lots of fun with Lucky until he passed away, we had him for 12 years and was a big part of our lives. he was only a small when we wanted to go and work in the UK so we took him with us. .it was a very expensive exercise but well worth it. If it wasn`t for the walking every day with Lucky I don`t think I would still be so fit. The problem now is our age, it would probably live longer than me and that would make me sad. sometimes we just have to live with our good memories. 🙂
