The first photo taken is a mistake. Accidently pushed the button on the camara down. I was sat up on the wall that surrounds a little of what we call the ‘third’ pond. The paws are those of another dog who was on the wall while I was trying to take the other photos.
This family of Swans had 7 cygnets. One of them is completely white. The Father has not been seen for several weeks, Yet swimming with the family is a white duck. It seems he’s taken over to be ‘Father’.
Our swans with 3 cygnets can either be seen on the ‘bottom’ pond or the ‘middle’ pond. I have not been able to get a photo of them as yet.
Benji is enjoying life to the full. Recently Swansea held an air show that took place along the long sweep of Swansea Bay. A free event brought the crowds down onto the beach. It was packed with families having picnics and all their beach necessities. Children playing in the sand ,building castles ect. The day was a little overcast and not warm enough for people to paddle or swim in the sea, but able to watch the displays put on with various types of air craft. The day ended with the famous Red Arrows
Some of the aircraft were VERY loud and to my amazement Benji never bothered at all about this noise. Having been told by his previous owner he did not tolerate loud bangs ect. well I thought, this to be totally untrue.
We travelled to Swansea by train. Practise for when we would be travelling up to visit my daughter later this month. I can see no problems arising as Benji just loves the train and meeting people.
