Nature / Swans

What a miserable day? Mist and heavy rain. Benji and I have not ventured out side today.

I am taking the opportunity to post some photos taken in October/November this year.

Living where I am we are lucky to have Swans on our canal and also on the 2 ponds in the park. This year I’ve been observing their development, capturing special moments with them. Our younger swans have almost lost their brown and becoming the lovely white swans which tell us they are fully grown.

Swans and Ducks Bottom pond October

As I walked round the bottom pond on Remembrance Sunday Benji and I paused at the spot where I had stood for the last time with Spotty. The sun shone and it was mild. On this day I always walk up to this area and stand quietly remembering all those i have lost / animals and Humans.

You are so lucky to be able to watch the swans raise families there. They are so beautiful. Hope your weather improves soon.
