Benji Enjoying The Beach

Today has been warm and sunny. a day we haven’t had in a while.

Benji and I went over for lunch with my son and his dog Ruby. A delicious chicken dinner. We then set off to walk along by Swansea Marina. boats were glistening in the sun, many folk out enjoying the weather too.

Down at the beach we found the tide was way,way out. There is a great expanse of sand for all our dogs to run on, This Benji did and went up to say hello to other dogs. nearing the end of our walk =, before I had a chance to call him back, he was sniffing at some persons belongings and found their dinner  – a pie!!!.

The man ran up screamed and kicked at Benji (Benji not close enough to get hurt) and then threw a stone at him. I knew I too could shout and scream but what’s the point, no need to create a scene on such a lovely day and spoil the niceness of it all. Just a good telling off would suffice.

As I write he is worn out asleep some where at home.

Sounds like a lovely day (except for that screaming/kicking man). Glad Benji wasn’t hurt.
