In My Own Space–Gardening

Since moving here I have been keen to get gardening again.

A couple of days of being here I planted runner beans seeds and Tomatoes into small pots and waited in anticipation for the seed to burst through the compost. Indeed they have have

Yesterday, a dry sunny, warm day, decided it was time to plant the beans out. Gosh did I really have the soil in a bed, to dig over!

Yes and so made my support for the beans. How good the soil felt in my hands as I transferred the strong plants into their place to grow up up the frame. I also tied the stems to guide them where to grow. next they were watered well and slug pellets scattered along. No slugs will attack my home grown vegetables.

A couple of days ago I purchased flower plants that await to be put into flower pots and placed round the garden,

Having 2 green-houses is ideal and at first everything was just dumped in them but now they are tidy.

I wonder what today will bring as I am settling into my new home?
