Prison Life – At Home

It’s been all go here at the new home. Getting the house sorted out. It has taken 5 weeks for the electrics (re-wiring) to be carried out.

The person who done them was not a good time keeper and a slow worker but the work is satisfactory.

Last week was a quiet week to rest before the next work to commence.

As I write Benji and I are confined to the front bedroom. We are not allowed out and a barrier has been put across the door.

REASON: Having a new combi-boiler, new radiators and replacements.

They arrived at 8 a.m. Benji & me not even had breakfast!!!!!

Anyway with great difficulty we managed and before I attempted mine had to shut Benji upstairs in front bedroom which he detested by barking ferociously. It feels like being in prison as I joined him. The men are working as I write.

The advantage of being up here is I can work on the computer, rest on the bed, look out of the windows to see the pets visiting the vets.

Its mid-morning and Benji is crying off and on. I think he wants to go out for his walk and do his business. Can’t wait till they go for dinner.

Well I will finish this blog and go to write my next on Benji.

Having work done is great except for that inconvenience part. When Mom had painters painting our apartment we went to a hotel for the day so we could come and go as we pleased. Hang in there, Benji! It won’t last forever.

    Love and licks,

Hope they get the work done quickly, so you 2 can get out and enjoy the rest of the day.
